On behalf of the Council members of the Bailliage de Jakarta, I have the pleasure of inviting you to our Ambassador’s Table Dinner, held at the residence of the Greek Ambassador, His Excellency Alexis Christopoulos and Mme. Christopoulos. We will be tasting the cuisine of the Gods, featuring a modern Greek menu prepared by Chef Gerald Reichstein of the Dharmawangsa Hotel. We have been privileged enough to source Greek wines and since it was Dionysus, the God of Wine, who created the first wines many centuries ago, we expect them to be very enjoyable. The reception and dinner will begin at half after seven on the evening of Friday, June 16th, 2006.

Because the Chaîne demands the highest levels of culinary artistry from chefs, our dinners are small, intimate affairs. For this special feast of Greek gastronomy, we have seating for thirty guests only. Please remember to:

• Discuss with the Council members sponsorship of frequent guests so they can become Chaîne members in their own right, if they meet membership criteria. (Application forms and criteria can be obtained from the Council)
• Pay your contributions at the time of registration and prior to the event. Regrettably, contributions are not able to be refunded for cancellations received within 72 hours of the dinner.
